New elementary school in Töcksfors
The municipality of Årjäng is building a new school for the children of Töcksfors. The project includes a hybrid structure of Cross Laminated Timber (CLT), steel beams, HDF floors, and stairs made of CLT. By combining wood, concrete, and steel in the construction, we can utilize the strengths of each material while reducing carbon emissions. Töcksfors School is a step towards more sustainable and environmentally friendly construction projects.
The project was being carried out in collaboration with ByggDialog AB, and the school is was completed in fall 2024.
