Meet Victor during a day at the project in Tullholmsviken.
As an assembly manager, my day starts with placing orders, checking that all deliveries are on track, and assigning tasks to the team. After that, I’m involved in the assembly work and attend meetings with other trades. Here at Tullholmsviken, logistics are a big part of the job because we have many workgroups sharing the same space. We need to have constant communication about how to manage transportation, especially when they’re digging for water and electricity, for example. It’s a role that offers a lot of variety and requires flexibility.
Why do you work at CarlGustav?
It’s an incredibly generous employer, and the founders have a high level of expertise. They’re great at placing staff where they’re needed, and it’s never an issue if I need time off on short notice. But the best part is definitely my colleagues—they’re fantastic. Many of us have been here for years, and we range from people in their twenties to those over 60. If you enjoy being outdoors, taking the initiative, and don’t mind hard work, it’s an incredibly fun job.

Martin has a long background in the construction industry as an assembler and assembly manager. He now works with us as a project manager and is based i Gotenburg.
