We are proud to announce that we have been entrusted by PEAB to help build the new swimming center in Götene.
In this project, we are responsible for the delivery, engineering, and installation of the structural frame and load-bearing components. This includes concrete walls, columns and beams, HDF floor slabs, staircases, as well as steel components in the form of columns, beams, and trusses. We are also supplying steel roof decking (TRP) for the roof. Following this, PEAB will carry out the in-situ casting of the pools.
Installation of Phase 2 will begin on April 1, 2026, and the project is scheduled for completion in week 22.
The new swimming center is being built in Västerby, an area with sports facilities, a school, and residential housing. The facility will replace the 53-year-old swimming center, which has now been dismantled, with the ambition of reusing bricks from its walls.
The new aquatic center will include a 25-meter pool with six lanes, a multi-purpose pool with an adjustable floor, a wellness area, and a play zone with several pools.
We look forward to being part of creating a new meeting place that will contribute to swimming enjoyment, health, and activity for the residents of Götene.
