Expansion of Falu Hospital
The Dalarna regional real estate department is expanding the capacity of Falu Hospital. Our assignment includes the expansion of Building 09 to increase capacity in intensive care, radiology, laboratory, medicine and oncology.
Currently, the building houses the emergency department, and the new extension will be placed above the existing facility. The project covers an area of approximately 8,800 m². To handle the project’s complexity, large trusses were used to support the new structure above existing floors.
The project is carried out in collaboration with ByggDialog AB, and the new facilities at Falu Hospital was completed by the spring of 2025.
