Expansion of Falu Hospital
The Dalarna regional real estate deparmnet is expanding the capacity of Falu Hospital. Our assignent includes the expansion of Building 09 to increase the capacity for intensive care, radiology, laboratory, medicine, and oncology.
Currently, the building houses the emergency deparment, and the new extension will be placed above the existing facility. The project covers an area of approximatly 8,800 m2. To hande the project’s complexity, large trusses are used to support the new structure above existing floors.
The project is carried out in collaboration with ByggDialog AB, and the new facilities at Falu Hospital are expected to be completed by spring 2025.
