Erikslund School

In the summer of 2024, the first sod was broken for the new Erikslund School in Borås. The City of Borås decided to demolish the old school and build a new, larger school on the same site. The new school will accommodate approximately 800 students from preschool to ninth grade, which is a doubling of the number of students compared to the old school. In addition to the school, the activity and sports hall will also be remodeled and extended.

Skanska is building the new school and we at CG Solutions were entrusted with the design, delivery and assembly of the frames. The assembly was completed during week 19, 2025. In total, it was about 9,000 m² HDF, 1,800 m² concrete walls, 250 tons of steel, 7 28-meter long glulam beams and about 3,200 m² TRP.
