Återbruket

On April 8, 2025, the first sod was laid for the Återbruket block on Hisingen in Gothenburg. There will be a total of 66 new apartments and a business premises, all with planned occupancy in 2026. It is a unique project as half of the built-in material will be recycled. For example, the project will have 3,000 square meters of hollow-core slabs from the old Ikea in Kållered, and glulam beams and sheet metal from the Isdala ice rink in Kortedala.

We at CarlGustav Solutions have been entrusted with delivering and assembling the frames on behalf of NCC. The recycled hollow-core slabs give us challenges in terms of assembly, but the fit has been incredibly good and we thank Kalle and the team at NCC for adjusting the plates before assembly. Our hired crane from Havator provides a very quiet workplace with its battery operation, which is not entirely unimportant in a slim workplace. The battery-powered crane from Havator contributes to a quiet working environment – an important advantage in a cramped and efficiently planned workplace, in addition to the environmental benefits.

Framtidens Byggutveckling is building on behalf of Poseidon, which will own and manage the property. The architects are Lendager Group/Liljewall Arkitekter.
