CG Solutions has been trusted to deliver and install the structure for SÄBO Haraldsbo in Falun, a new elderly care home developed in close cooperation with Skanska and Falu Municipality.
The project includes a steel and concrete structure, as well as installation of supplied external walls. Production of steel and concrete is currently in full progress, and installation started in week 19, 2026. The structure is expected to be fully installed by week 27, 2026.
SÄBO Haraldsbo is being built in the Hälsinggården area of Falun and covers approximately 6,500 m² across five floors. The elderly care home will have 80 apartments as well as shared spaces for activities, socialising and meals. The ground floor will include a large common room, a commercial kitchen and a shelter.
The project has a strong focus on sustainability and will be certified according to LEED Gold. The building is designed to meet energy class B and will have solar panels for electricity and solar collectors for hot water. There is also a strong focus on creating a healthy outdoor environment with space for exercise, gardening, relaxation and social activities.
